Georgie Friedman awarded a 2013 Massachusetts Cultural Council
Artist Fellowship in Sculpture/Installation
The Massachusetts Cultural Council is honored to announce the 2013 MCC Artist Fellowship awards in Sculpture/Installation. Seven artists will receive fellowships of $7500 and another five will receive $500 finalist awards.
The awards are anonymously judged, based solely on the artistic quality and creative ability of the work submitted. The Sculpture/Installation panelists were Elizabeth Alexander, Nina Gara Bozicnik, Jo-Anne Green, and John Kemp Lee. This year, 235 eligible applications were received in Sculpture/Installation.
