Aurora Room is a five channel video installation that incorporates footage of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).

Since their intensity and velocity vary, to recreate the feeling of anticipation, the videos are separated, so only one video is able to be seen at a time, and viewers must move and gamble about where to watch.

Footage filmed in Alaska, March 2007.

Trip and filming made possible with via support from a Barlet Travel Grant and a Graduate Student Research Grant from Tufts University.
