For The Cleveland Museum of Art's Solstice 2016, Georgie Friedman will be creating an approximately 47' tall x 220' wide, site-specific video installation within CMA’s atrium — on the facade of the 1916 building.
Our Freezing and Melting World progresses from intense snow storms, glacial ice packs and small icebergs, to ice melt/waterfalls, and abstracted deep sea waters.

Solstice 2016, is CMA's eighth-annual Solstice event that brings music and art together from around the world. This year it is happening during the museum’s Centennial Festival Weekend. It sold out on the first day to 6,000 people. Read more here.
