For this custom piece, footage of real electrical streams were digitally slowed down and layered, so that the lightning-like electrostatic discharges appear to be shooting through, and trapped within, the marquee's borders.

I filmed electrical streams from Tesla coils and the Van de Graaff generator at the Museum of Science, Boston.
