Video Art & New Media Consultations & Equipment Sales

EQUIPMENT SALES:

I know the price of video, audio, and new media exhibition equipment can be prohibitive for many artists and institutions, so I've recently been licensed as an equipment reseller and can offer a range of high-quality equipment at discounted prices to work within your budget and exhibition needs.

Discounts may be available for:

  1. Local or state government art programs; temporary or permanent public art projects

  2. School and University Galleries

  3. Museums

  4. Commercial galleries, alternative spaces, and non-profits galleries

  5. Artists (Video Art, New Media Artists, Filmmakers, Performance Artists, Musicians, other visual and time-based arts, etc.)

  6. Graduate or undergraduate art students

  7. Designers planning or installing media-art for clients

Not sure if you fit one of the categories on the list?

FAQ

Q: Do you have a product list and prices of what you have available?

A: Short answer, no.

If you have specific products in mind, even high end options that might be outside your budget, contact me and I'll provide a quote.

If you don't have a specific product in mind, contact me for a consultation and equipment suggestions.

Not all items can be discounted, but I might be able to get you a higher quality item within your original budget range. Can't hurt to ask, right?

Q: I'll be exhibiting in a school/local government art space, can I qualify for the educational/government discount?

A: No, the school or government agency would need to be the one purchasing the equipment for your exhibit: they would qualify for those specialized discounts. I can provide you with quotes for the equipment with the educational or government discounts, but the organization would need to contact me directly to purchase the items for their institution.

Q: Do you offer warranties or equipment service?

A: At this time, all warranties and service contracts need to be registered through the manufacture or a third-party company.

Q: Where are you based? Will you travel for site visits? Where do you ship?

A: I'm currently based in Massachusetts.

I will travel for site visits or projects, but the cost of travel and lodging will be added to the consultation fee.

I am currently only selling & shipping within the U.S. If you are outside the U.S., please contact me and I can look into expanding my operations.

Q: Do you provide installation services?

A: I can consult on installation plans. If you need help physically installing items, I can recommend AV and technical installation contractors.

Q: Do you have references? What kinds of organizations have you worked with?

A: I have organized all the installation and equipment needs for my projects and I have also advised other artists and organizations.
